Paracas en otro idioma
The national reserve of Paracas is located in Ica, It has been one of the most touristic places in Peru. It’s a perfect place for people who loves the nature, because it has beautiful landspace which has a lot of animals and plants such as sea lions, penguins, “Aves guaneras”, “Estrellas de mar”, etc. You can try the different food there, like “Papa seca”, “Mancha pecho” and others, in Paracas you can eat like a king.
Paracas has a large number of marine species and plants and a typical desert climate which makes it a paradise. We also find Naldo Navarro’s Vinevard, that produces one of the best wines of Peru, especially the artisanal that doesn’t contain many chemical products.
“EL GAS DE CAMISEA” not only provides a stable economy in Paracas but also cause the pollution in the sea. We’re convinced that it’s a big problem in this city and the authorities don’t do anything.
When you go to Ballestas islands you can feel the breeze of the sea. In paracas you can find beautiful touristic places such as the Ballestas Islands, where you can find a representative figure which is called The Candlestick and some others different rock formations in the caves of the island like , the body of the elephant, inside a groove and Jesus’s profile.
Chincha is another interesting place to visit, it has a delicious food, like: “sopa seca”, “carapulcra’ and ‘manchapecho”. There is a famous family called “BALLUMBROSIO” , they’re the most representative family in the city in Afro Peruvian music, it was transmitted from generation to generation.
“LA CASA DE MELCHORITA” is a place of worship where the faithful come together to pay tribute; It is located in ‘Grocio Prado’ Boulevard, you can find a diversity of typical desserts: tiles, quince, wine, brewing beans, peanuts sweet and white dish; without despising it’s rich kebabs and ‘picarones’.
The most beautiful thing you can find on this boulevard are the crafts that represent Paracas and creative basket and handbags made of straw.
Unfourtanetly Paracas is threatened by different human activities that impact negatively the city and affect its integrity.
As you can see, Peruvian people prefer going to some other places, instead of going to Paracas they don’t know what they are losing, for example, an incredible nature in their own country, and an amazing place which is arrange for every one to enjoy it.
To conclude, in our opinion if we don’t have environmentally conscientious to defend this wonderful nature and the exploit; we will lose one more gift that God gave us. Maybe some economic activities can hurt the nature so I firmly believe that is necessary take care about it and maybe we could compromise to have in good condition this beautiful place.
